How to Arrange for Service

 

 

Call us a couple of days before your trip.    (403)-807-6866 

Call us two weeks before major Holiday's

 

Phones are staffed from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, and are monitored very closely over the weekend.

Phone calls and messages are returned during office hours-creating a fast response time if you need immediate or emergency care for your pet. 

We have a 24-hour-a-day voice mail system (403-807-6866) in operation 365 days a year.

 

 

 

 

A In home visit with pet and owner prior to a contracted service.  Key pickup/payment agreement.

 

When you call Corks Critter Care, she arranges a visit to your home shortly before you leave, to: :

 

Meet you and your pets

 

Get detailed information that we will need to keep them safe and happy. That information is then fed into a database so that we have a permanent record of the vet, any medication that needs to be given while you're gone, and any other special instructions you may have.

 

During the initial consultation, please try no to "force" you pet(s) to like the pet sitter. Some pets are shy and can't be expected to warm up to a stranger immediately. With time and patience trust will build and a friendly relationship will be established.

 

Discuss such services as plant watering, mail and newspaper handling, etc and giving your home a “Lived-in” look.  Thereby providing crime deterrence for your home. .

 

Pick up a key to your home or apartment

 

During this visit, you decide how often you want your sitter to visit each day you're away and what services you want performed.  Also, please remit payment for services at time of initial meeting or upon your return home when your house keys are returned by the Pet Sitter.  Fees are based on thelocation,  number and type of pets, medical care needed, and the number of visits per day.

 

STEP 3: UPON YOUR RETURN – KEY RETURN

 

 

Call us when you return home.

 

We will return your key and ensure you are completely satisfied. When you return home, please call my office to confirm that your pet(s) are back in your good care, and services will be discontinued.

 

 

 

 

"Lock Box" account available.                    We can keep your key on file (in a secure location, with no address or name references attached) so you can have in-home care for your pet at a moment's notice.

 

 

 

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to your reserved time, otherwise you will be charged the rates stated when the reservation was made.

Please note:  Reservations are not valid until they are confirmed verbally by a Corks Critter Care representative   All medicins and medical procedures must be under the recomendation of your veterinarian.
